Hand woven 100 % cotton Girasol baby wraps are made in Guatemala with traditional methods. Each wrap is carefully made by the local weavers and sewers. Girasol baby wraps and slings are fare trade products: fair working conditions and fair wages for everyone involved in the manufacturing process. Girasol baby wraps are wonderfully soft and adaptive. Because of the handweaving technique the wraps can contain small knots, short pieces of yarn sticking out of the fabric or small yarn pulls and loops. Some Girasol wraps can even contain a broken thread or two. The weaving density of some Girasols can be somewhat uneven. This phenomenon stands out mostly with such designs that have an intensive weft color for example Earthy Rainbow and Jungle (red weft). On the other hand the very same intense color makes the colours of these wraps so unique. Sizes: 2,6m, 3,6m, 4,2m, 4,6m and 5,2m. Size 4,6m equals to size 6. We recommend washing the baby wrap before you start using it. The wrap will become softer and easier to wrap with after washing & ironing, and the fabric will obtain it's optimum structure and density. Each baby wrap includes some extra length for shrinking.
