Two seat darts at the lower part of the panel create a nice pouch for the baby and she will easily take an ergonomic M-position. We have added soft padding under the baby's legs for more comfort. The shoulder straps are about 30 cm wide, simple wrap straps with no padding. Beautiful symmetrical pleats ensure that the straps will spread comfortably over your shoulders and back. You can also spread the straps over baby's back and bottom for extra support. The straps have some extra length and after the first wash they will become about 200 cm long. The waist strap is softly padded and 200 cm long as well. It is also possible to order a half buckle wrap tai carrier that has a buckle at the waist. The waist part is the same as with our Wompat ILO baby carriers. Wompat ILO Wrap Tai fits parents of different sizes very well. The standard size shoulder straps & waist strap are suitable for up to XXL sized parents. The adjustable Wompat ILO Wrap Tai is suitable for babies from 3 kg on and you can use it until the baby is about 15 kg. When carrying a bigger baby or a toddler, spread the shoulder straps widely over baby's bottom and thighs for additional support. Tie the waist strap high around your waist so that you can easily kiss baby's forehead. When carrying in the front spread the shoulder straps widely over your shoulders and back for optimal comfort. You can get more support for baby's sides by tying the straps over baby's bottom and lower back & spreading the fabric wide. At the back carry you can tie the shoulder straps in many ways and it's good to experiment a little to see what works best for you. The shoulder straps can for example be crossed at the front. Wash the whole carrier only when needed. We recommend washing the carrier before starting to use it. Wompat Wrap Tai can be washed in a washing machine. Wash with a delicates program at cold water (30 Celsius). Use only a small amount of liquid washing detergent. No fabric softeners. Hang dry. Shape the panel while still moist. The straps and the hood can be ironed with medium heat. Do NOT iron any of the padded parts! The carrier can shrink a little with the first washing.
