Vanamo Fabric Linen & Hemp

Vanamo fabric is weaved in Finland and the unique pattern is Finnish design. Made from natural & ecological organic cotton and other natural fibers. The weave is lively and airy. Vanamo fabric is strong and durable but also very soft and comfortable to the skin. The fabric does not stretch in length-wise but it does have some diagonal stretch. Vanamo fabrics are airy and porous which makes them cool and breathable. Linen and hemp add strength to the fabric. Tumble drying with mild heat can be used for example for new fabrics to speed up the softening process but be aware that tumble drying can also wear out the fabric faster, if used a lot. PLEASE NOTICE! The fabric will shrink about 5-8 % with the first wash. The weave will tighten up and obtain the final dencity, thickness and structure. We recommend washing the fabric before sewing.
